SkyLove Day Marks Its Fifth Anniversary!

Bucharest, February 21st, 2025 – On February 24th, for Dragobete, SkyTower, Romania’s tallest building and the iconic landmark of Bucharest, proudly celebrates SkyLove Day, a unique tribute to love featuring the spectacular release of 1,000 biodegradable red balloons from the esplanade in front of SkyTower.

Now in its fifth consecutive year, SkyLove Day has become a cherished tradition at SkyTower. The release of the biodegradable balloons into the sky serves as a symbolic declaration of love to the universe. Just like in the 2024 edition, this breathtaking moment will take place at 13:00, offering attendees a magical and joyous experience.

This year’s full SkyLove Day celebration will take place on Monday, February 24th, between 12:30 and 13:30, and will feature a love-themed lobby design, including a dedicated photo corner and special window decorations throughout the entire day. To sweeten the experience, participants will enjoy exclusive treats provided by the organizers: cotton candy and fluffy doughnuts, as well as an exclusive 25% discount at CAFELIER specialty coffee points in the SkyTower lobby and on the esplanade, starting with 12:30.

#SkyLoveDay photo competition!

SkyLove Day 2025 also includes an exciting public photo competition! The most liked photo taken after the balloon release and posted on social media using the hashtags #SkyLoveDay and #SkyTowerBucharest will win a €100 dinner voucher for two at NOR – Sky Casual Restaurant, located on the 36th floor of SkyTower.

SkyLove Day is a celebration of love, joy, and the strong community we build together at SkyTower, year after year. We are delighted to witness how this event has grown into a beloved tradition, and we look forward to celebrating once again on February 24th.”

– said Leo Forstner, CEO of RPHI Romania, the company that owns and manages SkyTower Bucharest.
